mVisa launch Nigeria

In July 2017, global payments company Visa Inc. introduced an innovative payments solution mVisa, into the Nigerian market a solution that allows consumers and merchants make quick and secure transactions for goods and services by simply  scanning a QR code on their devices.

To officially launch this product in Nigeria, H+K led the entire 360 communications team to drive activities including traditional, digital and experiential execution.

Influencers were engaged pre-event, to build momentum for the launch, sharing benefits of the mVisa solution to consumers. A press conference was further organized with up to 50 media delegates in attendance, as well as a consumer event for merchants, key stakeholders and partners.

H+K achieved over 100 pieces of media coverage across print, online and TV. Social media impressions was over 25,000,000 and sustained massive push for the product, through a 2-day twitter trend.

Following the launch, our PR efforts has recorded increase in consumer and merchants onboarding to the mVisa platform.
